Official Homepage Direct Message

The goal of the Office of Mentoring and Cultural Programs is to provide support, mentoring, and encouragement to students as they work towards their academic and professional goals. Our mentoring programs are committed to the personal, academic, social and cultural development of each member by:

  • Establishing Connections
  • Reinforcing Success Skills
  • Recognizing Scholarship
  • Encouraging Community Involvement/Service both on and off campus
  • Utilizing services available on and off campus for the benefit of our students

The Brother-2-Brother and Sister-2-Sister programs were launched in the fall of 2008 and were organized to address concerns regarding the academic success rates of Latino, Black, and African-American students. The programs were also meant to respond to requests by students to have more formalized opportunities for cultural and leadership programming.
